Top 5 Accomplishments
1. Community Garden
Digital Harbor High School has constructed an urban garden that is used as an outdoor classroom , green space, and as a way for the staff and students at DHHS to connect with the community.
2. BICO
DHHS staff and students are involved in Baltimore Inspiring Connections Outdoors, a program that gives students access to outdoor education activities.
3. Recycling Program
DHHS actively recycles paper, plastic and aluminum. Our recycling program teaches students environmental stewardship, reduces solid waste and allows participants to serve the community.
4. Bike Club
The DHHS bike club teaches students about bike repair and safety, while at the same time providing a sustainable means of transportation.
5. Green Team
DHHS's Green team increases environmental awareness of the school and the community through the promotion of recycling programs. The Green Team also partners with community members to clean up the Federal Hill neighborhood.
